On a yearly basis, I work with a limited number of 1:1 clients in custom intensives. Without all the fancy language, it’s kind of like helping people be who they are.
I like to say:
Come. We will sing together. We will make music together. And your life will change. Booyah!
Here’s a story:
“I first approached Heather about vocal coaching because I had a desire to sing and to perform my original works. The problem was I had never done that before and I was gripped with fear. Fear that my voice wasn’t good enough, that I was too old to learn, and that no one would listen if I did. Heather saw through my excuses and recognized that there was a voice inside of me that was worth bringing out. Through her coaching I learned that singing is not just a sound produced in our throat but is an extension of our very being.
Alongside the voice lessons we explored the barriers that were holding me back from truly expressing myself. With patient guidance Heather helped me identify the source of my fears and taught me the skills to acknowledge and reevaluate them, ultimately leaving them behind. She has helped me to become focused on my music career goals and has encouraged a mindset that can only lead to success.
I have performed original songs in public for the first time, something I see myself doing for many years to come. I am now working on a project, a trilogy of books with musical accompaniment that I have been writing in my mind for years but always put aside as unrealistic or too big to tackle. Those stories and songs are finally being born and I’m so excited to share them with the world. The confidence I was seeking for my voice has spilled over into many other parts of my life. I am communicating with others more clearly and with purpose, speaking up for myself when I was more likely to keep my mouth shut and it is amazing to witness the positive effects it has. My relationships are stronger, those with the other musicians I work with, as well as with my wife and family, and with music in general. Creating and performing music comes from a deeply spiritual place, something I had not been tapping into for a long time. Heather helped me open the door to that place and I came to realize I had the keys all along.
Perhaps the greatest impact that has come from Heather’s coaching is that I have taken the first steps toward creating the life I want to live by leaving a job that was nothing more than a paycheck; it had no higher purpose for me. Now everyday has a purpose because I am creating my own life, I’m no longer a bystander wishing for something different. Working with Heather has been an incredible experience, so much more than I was expecting, I can’t thank her enough!” – Turtle Zwadlo, musician
They’re often musicians, but not always.
Like Reshma, from Florida -
“When I think back on my life and where I was before starting coaching with Heather, I recall being in a place where I was searching for ways to speak more powerfully. For most of my life up until that point, I had been a person who applauded myself for being adaptable and flexible when really I was all about pleasing those around me. I rarely spoke up merely to keep the peace while deeply longing for a sense to be ‘understood’ in the world and felt a void from my unheard voice. I’ve always felt a deep desire to sing and little did I know how making this one decision would impact my life so profoundly.
My experience with working with Heather was amazing and a pivotal moment in my life. I not only explored the range of my voice musically, but developed a relationship with my voice that has left me feeling more powerful and joyful. I found myself able to make requests at work where before I was simply letting things happen to me or told what to do; I also found the ability to draw clear boundaries in relationships where none existed before and have been speaking my opinion freely even in moments of disagreement which has given me a sense of freedom and fulfillment from the contribution I am able to make with my own voice.
I am at an entirely different level of LIVING in just 3 months. I engage with others more authentically and truly see that I am the author of my own life. I never quite understood how profound the relationship with our voice is and quite frankly how this ultimately affects every aspect of our life. Now that I have a newfound relationship with my voice, I experience more joy and satisfaction than I did before and have taken risks I would only have dreamt…I laugh more, play more, speak up without hesitation, and much more….”
So here’s something you probably know about yourself:
You create with masterful ease.
Maybe sometimes you’re overwhelmed by your vision. You get frustrated when you feel like you can’t create fast enough, and you’re sometimes challenged to reach out for help on the deepest of levels. You feels this contraction and contradiction in yourself acutely in your body. Sometimes you feel powerless to move through it.
You dream of creative masterpieces – things that have never been done before.
You live and breathe for these moments.
You’re ready to have an impact – in a big way. In a deeply authentic way.
You’re ready to be seen. And heard.
You have this haunting fear that you’ll never actually change your current reality to the level of game you knows you’re capable of playing.
You’re already awesome. You’re wildly successful by everyone else’s standards (and sometimes even your own!) You’re honest with yourself and the people in your life. You’re kind of a big deal.
You’re realizing that your current reality no longer serves you at the deepest level. You’re ready to tap into that part of You that you’ve been carrying around inside for years, the genius of who you really are and how you’re here to serve.
My clients find that when they decide…then BOOM. That’s where the fun begins.
When you’re ready to enjoy the miracles you are already busy creating, contact me.
